82 km Water Injection Pipeline, Basrah Iraq

BTB took part as a subcontractor in the project managed by the American Fluor Company and Italian Saipem as the Main Contractor, within the scope of the renovation project of the West Qurna Oil Field in Basra, Iraq and operated by Exxon Mobil.

In this project, which is the first work undertaken by BTB abroad, 82 km of pipeline with 190 bar pressure was constructed.

The reason for the pipeline is to facilitate the drilling of oil by injecting water under the ground at a pressure of 190 bar.
